Importance of Modesty

Exodus 28:42 And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
The only relatively clear definition of nakedness. Today so much is disregarded because they say we are not under the law and this is true since even nakedness cannot separate you from the love of Christ, nevertheless God does not want us to disregard truth. Revelation 3:18 says “that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear;. Of course,
there are many verses about nakedness and I don’t think it is ever expressed in a positive way. The loin would be the area around the private parts but also including the hip at the same level, front and back. The thigh is from the loin until just above the knee. The problem today is that nakedness is accepted, even encouraged. Today it is a constant moving up the leg further and further. Christians now, not only reveal the thigh but many times a portion of the loin. With this spirit of change comes a change in music, which continually digresses and changes and then changing the Word of God itself. Modesty is important to God and to man. God says in Proverbs, 24:21 My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: 22 For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?
