John 9-10

John 9:1-3 (KJV) 1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. John 9:35-38 (KJV) 35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? 36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? 37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. 38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. In these two passages we see why “bad things happen to good people”. Things may happen which we bring upon ourselves by bad decisions, we cannot blame those of God, but also things happen in life that you have no control and if we let God work in them, He will work them for His good and our good. When the pain comes don’t let the deceiver cause you to believe it is a punishment, it may be a divine purpose.
Love you all
